Putting My Experience
to Work

First and foremost, I am a proud father and a lucky husband. God has given Jennifer and I six amazing children, ranging from 18 to 23 years old. Our oldest recently returned to Michigan after proudly serving in the US Air Force. My family has supported me through 26 years of public service. I was blessed to serve the citizens of Waterford for 25 years as a law enforcement officer. My diverse career allowed me the opportunity to serve as a road officer, field training officer, school resource officer, liaison to Waterford Youth Assistance, use of force trainer, juvenile detective, public relations, union president, patrol sergeant, training sergeant, and fatal crash investigation/traffic services sergeant.

I was elected by my peers as the local union president for the patrol officer's association and later for the command officer's association. For those 12 years, I was involved in negotiations, government affairs, contract and statute interpretation, and fiscal review. During this time I was honored to serve on the Executive Board of the Michigan Association of Police and the Waterford Coalition for Youth.

My local company has passionately provided martial arts and firearms training, as well as security consulting to corporations, houses of worship. schools, and individuals around the state.

I was elected May 3, 2022 in a special election for District 43. Redistricting has now changed our district to the 52nd. The citizens of the district re-elected me in November 2022 to continue serving.
